Like i understand rust making stuff too far gone but it still makes me really sad whenever I see people say "I cut up my Cruiser, going to take it to scrap" maybe I've assigned too much emotional attachment and nostalgia to the Land Cruiser.

VR8000 :flipoff2:

If the WV 60 doesn't make its way East, there's also a guy who chopped up a 60 in Leesburg. The upper hatch looks pretty ok.

I think I'm gonna do that to the 80...

Unless you have a clean title you have to cut them up to scrap them. And you may want to hold onto the title and vin plates they come in handy. Mostly for the older Cruisers.

He was at the swap meet. Nice guy, I have bought from him.

Nooooooooooo why
Because it has no axles, or seats or doors, I can't find the title (though it is somewhere in amongst my stuff) and Iwant it out of my drive way.
If you know someone who wants a carcass with an engine and transmission with the capability to remove an axle-less truck from a gravel drive way (without digging huge grooves in it in the process) for free. Send 'em my way and they can have it as is.

At some point the truck has given all it can and has kept other ones on the road through it's donations. There is no value in keeping a rusting hulk that will never see the road again and has no more items of value. IMHO

If I only it had axles i'd go for it and try and bring it back to life....but I have no way of collecting without something to roll it.
I did mean to ask when I was over there for the tech day, what caused you to park it and part it out?

I bought it for cheap and it had locking axles, which are worth $$. As you move along through the Cruiser world, you realize that, while you want to save everything, there ain't enough time or $ in the world to do that. So you pick your battles. Ask @apinti how the u-joint in that rear DS i gave him is...

Somebody PLEASE go grab this one. And then let me take the radio off your hands.

I should buy this just to sit in it and experience what it's like to have an actual land cruiser.

Is this anybody here? Seller's name is Nam.
