I'm going to go check this out next weekend when I'm in Raleigh. I don't know anything about this vintage mini truck but it looks to be very original. Plus someone needs to rescue it from those tires.

Bring a screwdriver and poke the frame in the rear (old Land Rover trick), especially around the spring and shackle hangers. Also look for fresh paint possibly covering up any rust on the frame.

bring a magnet with you and check for bondo on the rear bed....above the wheel wells and in the indentation on the sides....that's way to pretty to not have had some work done....the question is the quality of the work. Under the front floor mats at the wheel wells is another spot to check. My '79 toyota truck that I had in highschool looked like the flintstone mobile underneath the mat.

here's a nice old yota that we met down in uwharrie last year....it was a little soupy...

Looks like a decent truck... not sure about the shackle reversal work. That body looks like mine did befor I ground into the 1/2 or so of bondo. It appears mostly solid with some really ugly spots. I would think $4500-$5000 cash in hand is a reasonable price.

Looking at his posts it looks like it had/has some electrical issues along with fueling, carb and timing problems.
