Very interesting add there, nice blend of 60's Toyota marketing slogans and the owners personal description.

I especially like this "Needs Clutch Master Cylinder, Brake Master Cylinder, and water pump. Have not replaced do to originalety"

Looks to be in decent shape, but that is a hefty asking price he has I'd say $1500 is more realistic.

Yes this is a FST with a hard top added. But it does still have the original soft top doors which one of the hard parts to find. This cruiser has been on Craigs List for at least a couple of months. A mudder back east was in contact with the owner. The guy was not willing to come down much on the price so I guess the guy decided not to buy it. It is not cheap but it does look like a solid early cruiser. If it was on the east coast it probably would have sold already. Not being able to personally inspect it and shipping are a deal killer.

Yup. I called the guy a couple times. He went slightly down on the price....but not enough for me.

The guy want $5K, I'm sure Daniel has some. It is a soft top model with the original soft top doors but has a early hard top added. Then a piece to fill in between the side door and hard top side. Wasn't done to bad. Some rust I believe, rear sill? It was not running cruiser that needs a few things according to the owner.

I passed on this one. I had him down to 4k but he said it needed a water pump, brake master, clutch master, tires, etc. It ran. It had some rust areas that need attention the inner wheel wells and a couple small areas in the rear lip. Not a bad deal for someone with a little skill. I just did not pull the trigger at 4k and 1k for shipping.

Maybe the new owner will pop up on here.
