Mark's Offroad (@65swb45) is in Burbank. I'll bet a nickel he has several Fed spec manifolds available to purchase along with the right EGR pipe.

Exactly--definitely part of the problem in finding one. That is not a "typical" 2F manifold. But a Cali spec manifold.

It's not that plentiful compared to other 2F manifolds.
I must have missed that. Perfect then. Does the year matter? I believe I have a 75' intake/exhaust manifold from another 2F that I had been toying with rebuilding.I think it was said above but you don't need to use that exact manifold anymore. The Fed spec 2F manifold has been SMOG approved as a replacement since the CA spec manifolds are as rare as hen's teeth. If I recall they were only on the 76/77 Cali spec 40s.

Iptman - how did you learn the Fed spec 2F manifold is smog legal? I am getting different responses on that and was hoping to verify it was Smog legal before moving forward with the fed spec manifold. Man, that would be a lot easier!!I think it was said above but you don't need to use that exact manifold anymore. Thanks!I'll have to defer that to the collective for confirmation but I think any 2F manifold will mount up.

True and I think we mentioned that to him earlier in this tread. When I (@OTRAMM did the work) swapped my TR I bought a 2F flange from @hairy_apple and had the full exhaust redone at the same time. I'm sure any competent exhaust shop could take the flange and mate up a small section of pipe to the remaining exhaust piping if he doesn't want to replace the whole thing.
