Correct Headrests?

Morning all. Found a set of front seats for my project. Headrests look odd to me. Are these correct from a 78 40?

No. They are from the alien ship, based on their appearance!

AFAIK, the pointed-edged headrests were only stock for the first year of bucket seats, 1973.

It was news to me when it came up on Pirate4x4 back in 2004. There was a guy over there doing a frame up on a '73. He posted pics from dealer brochure to prove it.
