And here is my shock travel with a 10” travel Fox 2.0 remote reservoir, eye to eye with upper mount eye adapter dropping the mount 1.25”.

Bumpstops are dropped 2”, which perfectly protects the upper travel limit.

That’s right in the center of the shock and spring travel and for me a perfect application of these 4” Flexi coils. Dialed.

Has anybody run King shocks on the Dobs Flexi coils? I am on Kings shocks with comp adjusters and OME J springs. I'm planning to get the King front and rear bump stops also, but would most likely get Dobinsons flexi coils to test them out. The ride right now is actually really nice, and the springs stay captured when wheeling, so if there isn't a huge difference in ride and weight carrying capacity, I may stay with the J springs.

I would love to see how this plays out. I have been considering something like this as an alternative to the Icon stage 2 kit which I have been considering. I have been looking for a nice <$3k 2.5 setup. The slinky stage 4 seems great and all but out of my price range. Since King shocks is local to me they would make the most sense for service.

Anybody know where to get Kings for a good price?

Filthy Motorsports. Budget 5-8 weeks for delivery. Mine were 6-7 weeks to my door.

Look up @jtwopark his 80 was the R&D rig for King. I think he sells them also.

@jtwopark what is the comp. & extension of you 2.5 Resi shocks?

I found this in anothet thread. It gives the King shock specs. Although they have a 0-2" inch set and a 3-6" set available.

Talk to @David Otero from Dobinsons, he can meet your budget for the 2.5 setup. I just ordered a kit from him for less than $2500

I ended up getting the Radflo 2.5's and Dobisons 2" progressive springs. I was able to keep it under $2k after gettinf a great deal on the Radflo's. The kings would have been $700+ more. I just couldnt justify it.

Does anybody have the Slinky coil specs for new part numbers and the corresponding lift and application:

@GW Nugget it seems the part numbers you have in the Slinky section are not in use anymore. Or maybe the old part numbers match some of the new ones, thanks!

Well, Kevin aka @dockbox with www.endlesshorizonsoutfitters.com and Darren with www.4xoverlandusa.com @AutoCraft Aus should be able to help us with that info. Official specs from the mfg. would be nice also...

Contribution to post #7 about TJM springs:

Info I got from TJM when I was researching their spring rates. I was looking for a rear spring for my 100 that kept the ride near-stock when unloaded, but could handle some camping gear. My rig is kept light and minimal. ARB 862 with spacers was what I purchased, but I wasn't sure how spacers would last. I wanted to get around a 2.5" lift with all spring, and have the comfort of a dual rate or progressive spring. The 80 and 100 can use the same rear springs and shocks. Looks like there's a lot more options available in the last year for me to research.

Hi Tim,
Spring 770RR80C has a free height of 510-520mm and a progressive rate of 145-250.
For comparison the 1" lift 770RS80B has a free height of 460-470mm and a rate of 200.

Thank you for you contribtion.
Those are really short in free height.... only a stock length shock would work to retain the coil, but yeah.

The real thing is most don't know the 100 can use any 80 coils. I just learn myself not to long ago.
