I'm in the middle of doing this right now, but I'm unsure of which direction to turn the power steering nut. Clockwise?or remove the spark plugs, tighten the alternator belt, then turn the engine via the power steering nut. Always in the same direction. If you overshoot the timing mark go around another 2 times. Don't back up.
Thanks for that advice. I'll PS clear of that witch. Hope I don't change directions and find another. He just means to use the PS pulley nut to turn the engine over. Doesn't matter which way. Or, if Hillary were a PS pulley nut, witch way.
Use a pun, go to jail.
Keep it to the right and you'll be fine is what you're saying?Thinking about it, to prevent loosening that PS pulley nut, I suppose turning clockwise is prudent, though you prolly won't put enough torque on the nut to loosen it, if the plugs are removed.
