I got a list...........give me a minute
i am going to eed a full list of stuff the truck HAS to have...
i don't have a fire extinguisher either, 3 years and never needed one but i think i have a baby one here somewhere...
is there a list somewhere?
plus, i have a TLCA number but have not been paid up in a few years...i think the last time i paid was when i saw the first FJLoser add in the mag and lost total interest in the rest of it.

All info is at GCLC Home, but here's a direct link to the checklist:

http://gclcny.com/docs/GCLCChecklist.pdf

It's pretty much a cut/paste from an old TLCA checklist. Obviously if this is a buggy/trailered rig some items won't apply. The rest are basically common sense items like brakes, seat belts, etc.

We will have about 4-6 folks doing inspections as guests arrive. Each passing vehicle will get a windshield inspection sticker (assuming there is a windshield).

Try not to have fuel pouring out the bottom of your truck during the inspection; bungee cords holding down batteries; and/or flames belching out of the engine block, and I think you'll be OK. I'll be on the lookout for at least 4 rubber tires, so if you show up with solid steel wheels or tank treads you're not going to pass.

Whoo hooo CMCC is next week!

okay, so i have:
no valid TLCA membership
no CB but i could get one
no ebbrake that works well
but other than that the truck is in fine working order.

will there be much mud there or more rock than mud? clay? gravel?
i.e., tractor tires or steet tires are recommended?

I'll break chops over the CB simply because I feel it should be required. Make an attempt to repair your ebrake and we'll discuss it over a beer or 3.

Pass/fail will be up to the individual inspector but we've all been wheeling for years.

Its been pretty dry over the last few weeks. Not going to be too much mud. Big rocks.

There will be mud, always is.

It's really all about what type of trails you want to do (and where your trail leader takes you). All apply at RC.

wayne there is almost always a by-pass around the big stuff. If need be I dont mind helping you with your ebrake.........and if Canada requires insurance bring a copy for the inspector.

just registered and paid!

Looking forward to seeing everyone again!!

I'll be camping at EV. Looks like they have actual showers now? The scary leaking, non-level trailer has been replaced?

....hope so

Can we expect Woody and his raisin this year?

Anyone have an extra CB? Thought I had one somewhere...

Found one in the basement...seemed to work too. I'll bring it, but you'll need an antenna and an in-line fuse holder as the wires are cut @ 6" from the back of it. Also, didn't find the "u" shaped mounting bracket yet...I'll keep digging.

Could someone tell me all the additional fees that I will have to pay? I will be staying at the pavillion at EV with my wife (we don't need a reservation, right, are there camping fees?). We will probably show up Wednesday night and leave Sunday morning. We have to pay $15 each to be members of Rausch creek, and then its $35 a day?

When camping at the pavillion are we able to put up those 10'x10' canopies or use tarps? On EVs website it says you can't but it seems like that might be for long term camping.
Thanks
