Scott,

My name is JW St. Amant (Marshall St. Amant's nephew). I know Marshall may have mentioned to you that I have a 76 FJ40. Anyway, got really involved in a restoration about 6 years ago and then went active duty military. I have not been back to Baton Rouge since and have not been able to drag my project with me. I am bittersweet about selling it, but I don't see myself getting around to finishing it in the next few years. If you or anyone you know may be interested, please let me know. I have owned two of them and am fairly knowledgeable. The attachment covers the big stuff that I was able to complete. My Dad and I did all of the work with the exception of the engine rebuild (original 2F) which was done by Engine Warehouse in Baton Rouge. Everything but the crank was replaced. Mechanically, it is 95% intact and needs to have the wiring harness and fuel system put back together in order to get it running. The body is back together and ready for finish paint. Anybody with landcruiser knowledge could have this truck going in a few days, and then maybe another few weeks to get the interior and trim the way they want it. I will be in Baton Rouge around Christmas and the week after to show it, or Marshall can show it anytime at his convenience.

Thanks,
JW

Hey Y'all, I have a few things for sale y'all might be intrigued to see.

M416 trailer- 800 OBO
i have a clean and clear Louisiana title. All new suspension(shackles, shocks, bump stops), the bearings were repacked and all the old grease was cleaned out. the races and seals looked great. whole trailer was acid dipped and treated then coated in a thick coat of POR- 15. Chassis coated with 2 layers of Rustoleum truck bed coating . When I put it back together every bolt, washer, and nut was replaced with grade 8 hardware. The PO had cut the back panel and braced it into a tail gate. sturdy as could be. The hand brake works, and it has LED trailer side markers and taillights..they are BRIGHT. It comes with a Lunette hook lock shown as well. And if needed I will sell the adjustable pentle hook as well as the lock for that for 50
Tows great for a short trailer! Made the trip to AL without a flaw.
The pictures shows the bed bare... It has since been sanded down, cleaned, and coated in POR 15
Also have:
2 Kuhmo Road Venture MT's- 350 for the pair or 185 per tire 285-75r-16 BRAND-SPANKIN NEW bought them to use on the trailer... Never mounted them They run 240+ a tire
same ones I had on the FJ

I will drive to meet within reason!

I'd really love to get your trailer but at this point I have to sell mine before I can. I had the money awhile back when I posted in the other thread but It's now used up for other things. If you don't have it sold by the end of Mardi Gras which is when I can put mine up for sale, maybe we can work something out. Just keep my posted.

thanks!
Bart

Will do, I'm offering it up to y'all and the BSLC guys first and in a couple weeks ima put it on la sportsman, Craigslist etc.

If anyone is interested in LED lightbars but doesn't want to pay for Rigid's a buddy of mine is doing a group buy on t4r for Hanma/TrailWorthyFab lights. Here's the link if you want to get in on it

http://www.toyota-4runner.org/general-discussions/132225-hanma-led-bar-group-buy.html

I've recently placed 2 orders from Hanma Lights, in China, for some local off road club guys as well as a few members here on t4r. They're extremely cheap compared to other prices out there, so I figured I'd post a group buy and let more of the community in.

The group buy will end January 31, but if there are enough people who are in a rush we may be able to place an order in a couple of weeks for those who are in a rush.

edit- several people are asking, so if you would be good ordering by 1/15 please put that in your post I'll still do another order at the end of the month for those of you who need to wait.

I posted a feeler thread here - http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-gen-t4rs/131810-interest-hanma-led-light-bar-group-buy.html - for anyone looking for a little more info as well as some feedback from previous buyers. I decided to post this in General Discussions in case in non-4th gen folks are interested.

The prices will be as follows (including shipping within USA)-

BC series - Polycarbonate lens, 3W CREE bulbs, thicker housing (these appear to be on par with the name brand bars as far as specs).
7.5" - $80
13.5" - $140
21.5" - $220
31.5" - $300
41.5" - $380
3x3" - $30

B Series - Glass lens, 3W Epistar bulbs
7.5" - $65
13.5" - $115
21.5" - $170
31.5" - $235
41.5" - $300
2x6" - $30

Single Row - Polycarbonate lens, 5W CREE bulbs
10.5" - $110
20" - $180
29.5" - $240
39" - $300

All bars are available in spot, flood, or combo. The lead time will be about 14-15 business days as I'm not making anything and can't afford to keep these in stock.

There are some output pics from the 30" first gen B series bars in this thread - http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-gen-t4rs/120687-let-there-light.html all the bars available now are second gen and have better optics. I don't know the lumen ratings, there are ratings for these lights on some sites but I don't trust those ratings (and those were for the 1st gen bars) so I'm not posting them.

Here's a pic of the BC series 30" bar and the 3x3 and 2x6 lights.

(cat not included with any orders)

The B series bars are available from several others around the internet, at a significantly higher cost, but the BC series bars are not available anywhere else as far as I've seen.

Unless you say something it will be assumed that you want a combo bar
