Oops! You're right. I just bought an OEM PS pump for my FJ62 which are still available!FJ60 power steering pump is discontinued from Toyota. No longer available. 44320-60071
Barring a Saginaw conversion, best option today for an OEM style aftermarket pump replacement? This and a rebuild of the leaky steering box are next on my ever growing list of issues to address.FJ60 power steering pump is discontinued from Toyota. No longer available. 44320-60071
My truck also has some leaky hoses and or pump. Maybe the box as well. Kinda hard to tell. Would definitely like to know the simplest route to address the problem.Barring a Saginaw conversion, best option today for an OEM style aftermarket pump replacement? Just did a Saginaw conversion after trying a Lares pump from Summit (groaned bad, but no leaking) and rebuilt my OEM pump (worked ok, leaked a mess 3 months after rebuilding it myself). Contact Valley Hybrids @orangefj45 and hook it up. Never have to worry about it again. Link to my install. My truck also has some leaky hoses and or pump. Maybe the box as well. Kinda hard to tell. I think I have 1 new OEM PS pump left.No one has any Toyota pumps anymore. City Racer no longer gets his repros. No idea why he stopped. Roger, what's the reason? @Racer65
The design is antiquated. It's very difficult to assemble and even with meticulous attention it's still prone to leaks. I'm exploring a new direction to potentially replace it with an electric hydraulic pump that won't require a belt.No one has any Toyota pumps anymore. City Racer no longer gets his repros. Worth its weight in gold.
I saw somewhere (@OGBeno may have posted a video?) that the Heritage Parts program may be making them again, but it won't be cheap, in the $600 range if my JPY to USD conversion was close?
Bummer. Wonder how they are different.. if it's just the reservoir outlet location or something more technical. They are remaking them for the B series engine family. Not the F.
