I'm with @riderjgs, Oklahoma City to Memphis is a nice straight start. The Peabody is great. Just having drinks in that lobby waiting on the ducks to go up is worth the stay. Come on across and go either north or south. Key West might be a step far though. I've made that drive before and it's a long way from anywhere. 10 days isn't enough to do the entire coast unless maybe you're starting on the coast. There's always a room for you guys here Jon if you find yourself nearby. We're only 90 miles from Atlanta and could easily be on the route to NO if you decided to back via a southern route.

Humboldt, TN, is right between Memphis and Nashville. We sing the blues here too, but songs are primarily about Land Cruiser troubles.
Hell what a place to spend the full 10 days there!!

As much as I would love to get to the NE on this trip we will likely find things 6-7 hour drives stopping and checking out cool stuff. Kim thinks charlotte would be nice place to spend couple days. Then there more things I’d like to see in Alabama and TN but stop and stay couple days.

We use to tent camp when traveling, would be nice to see some parks! I’m not much of a city person.

Well slowly coming together. Just got couple pics. Getting closer!

Folks this has been long time coming. He said he feels good about me coming up Friday after next and picking it up.

Looks fantastic!
What lights are you using in the grill?
I should have the original set. If they aren’t in best condition I just purchased some from @Lifelong40Fan and I restore if needed.

Is that Ford Argent Silver?
@Tomba
Not likely as we were going to try and stay as close as we could to Toyota pewter. He likely used same as what Bonnie has.

The orange is Punkin metallic if my memory serves me right.

At least OSU fans will have something to smile about, in the parking lot if not on the field!

And what a butt whipping we took today. Kim and I go to all the games to support the kids but we have some tough times ahead of us.

His work is great. Pace, not so much. At least being local I was able to stay after him on Bonnie/Frankencruiser and the old Porsche. Nice touch on the grlle.
Got to seize opportunity to pick it up for sure. Just picked up new tires for trailer and got spare.

Dad is wonderful man, developing little memory stuff at almost 83. For some reason unknown to me, parks his car in front of trailer I need Tuesday to pick up our ranger. Locks it, despite us being pretty remote and no visitors.

Lost his primary key fob early last week, went to his back up yesterday and lost those same day. Now car stuck in front of trailer. Locksmith from hour away came last night to unlock car cause dad had 90 pound roll of wire in his car to put down today to his shop. Can’t get new keys fob until Tuesday night.

It’s never boring having my parents on the farm, that’s for sure!
