Caught some metal somewhere thankfully only 16 miles from Gunnison. Great shop has new tire and helping me out. Able to air it up a little at pull off to limp into town. What tire shop stays open till 6pm on a Friday?

Kreugers!

Safe travels over Monarch.
Went south to Monte Vista, relaxing at small Mexican restaurant after gas station food for two days. Early bedtime tonight for sure.

Beautiful drive!

That's a nice trailer Jon: aluminum, tilting deck. Safe travels!
Thanks Greg, pulls better wit 4 tires full of air instead of 3 especially in the mountains. I was getting concerned.

Final push home

Probably know exactly where. Somewhere around that little canyon before you hit the big open park holding the Old Agency Ranch. Almost took out a half dozen of ‘em there one trip.

Successful trip! Worst part the last 3 miles on muddy roads. Too tired to mess with anything tonight.

Got curious how many miles and it looks like couple thousand miles since I left Thursday at 1pm. Don’t think I have very many trips like this in me in the immediate future.

Need those small clips for mounting the Land Cruiser emblems. Anyone have part number or source while I search McMaster Carr? Or is it easier to just go with emblem adhesive?

Once sun rises it’s unload time and get Clyde in shop. Need to do some things that are bugging me.

Trailer did great, first aluminum trailer I’ve ever pulled and I have pulled quite a few. Prefer goosenecks and something little heavier when empty. If I did it all over again I would get a steel tilt trailer with the front shield. This one bounced quite a bit on the roads. Original thought for purchasing it was to pull behind RV if Kim and I keep it after we’re done living in it.

Overall worked fine and will be keeping it.

Which emblems are you talking about? The later fender emblem (one piece style) is still available and cheap FWIW. I don't think it uses push nut retainers though. Here's what McMaster Carr carries:
