Has anyone tried these? Any good? Look much like OEM from the outside.

OEM are not expensive at all. I was quoted AUD$165 for them a year ago.

That's a first that parts in Australia are cheaper than in the US.

Thanks. I wonder if the OEM are made in China, though. Is that possible? They look remarkably identical to the OEM.
Lol, the surface corrosion in the product picture isn't exactly screaming "Toyota OEM" to me.

No, those are absolutely not the same as genuine OEM parts.

No, do not buy those.

Buy OEM. They're not that expensive.

An additional note: The OEM AHC shocks last just about forever. It's unusual that they fail - even after 300k+ miles. Are you sure you need new ones? What's your neutral pressure? Hint: If you dont know your neutral pressure, you probably don't know that you need new shocks. :)

I have slight seepage from the front shocks, that is the only issue I am aware of. That is the only reason I was thinking about replacing them. Roger on the Chinese.

That's normal if your pressure is slightly high. Measure pressure first. Very unlikely you need new shocks.

Don't waste your money. The only Chinese item I installed in the LC were front fog lights and it disintegrated in just 7 months! Value your money.

You're generally correct, but there are exceptions. For example, I got Ebay Chinese ABS sensors 3 years ago. As Willyroo stated, one was bad initially and it was replaced for free. They have been going for 3 years now. $20 vs $320 OEM.

Read it. Thanks. Old post. What is latest software and cable links since much that has expired?
Still the same stuff, might be a new version of software but eventhough I am still using it now and then.
It still works.

I presume the software links are still good. The link for the cable, however, is not, and the reviews for various mini VCI cables are very mixed. Which on should I get at present?

There are multiple links to the product.

Ditto that weeping shocks are a symptom of high pressures. AHC is pretty easy to dial in/maintain, lasts a very long time, and provides the best on-road suspension setup by far for these vehicles.
