Did you ever get any jack stands? I can bring mine if needed. I'll bring a few tools too, mostly over 19MM stuff. Do you have a good impact? A compressor that won't explode? Do you have instructions on how to reindex the tortion bars? If you get started early and have the skid plates down, wheels off, and the preliminary stuff done, we might be able to get this in one evening :)

  1. Picked up one set of the 6 ton ones.
  2. I've got a HF electric impact. ??? It'll do lugs. ???
  3. A nice 5HP compressor that might explode.
  4. Yeah, have some nice MUD instructions. Better that you'll find anywhere else.
  5. I'll have her stripped by 3pm.

I can't promise to be there Friday, but I will try. If you need them, I have a set of coil spring compressors that may help you get those spacers in.

Those might come in handy. I've read that some other 100 owners have had better luck installing spacers if they used the compressors.

And, I expect nothing less than a 100% guarantee that you'll be here Friday. No excuses man. :D

That map shows the correct location. You take 270 off of Hwy 285, make a right after you pass under a pipeline going over the road. Once on 270 you pass a couple farm houses, then come to an intersection where 272 continues straight on a dirt road. that will take you into the camping area in the trees. at the forest service information sign, 272 makes a left, the map shows that. At that point, I am pretty sure it is 273 that continues straight, and 274 is the next left. That's the road I want to camp on, IF the snow is not still too deep. 274 backs up to the rocks and there is always a lot less wind back there. If the snow is more than a foot, my pop up camper will get stuck in protest. Our backup plan will be 272. Like I said, there area is not very big, and I remember 272 ending at a gate. Shouldn't be hard to cruise the area and find the CLC banner. Basil, If you get there before we do, just pick a campsite big enough for everyone. There are some very cool open spots about a half mile up 274 on the right side. Get yourself a fire going and have a beer or two, we'll be along shortly.:steer:

Matt, what time are you thinking on leaving?

I am hoping around 3:30 or 4 from the springs if all goes well. I am going to try to get done early and packed so when the wife gets done we just have to take off. I will be tent camping so I hope there is not to much snow so I can put the tent down.

I hope there's no snow too, but it seems to hang around up there longer. Hopefully we'll find a dry spot. My wife doesn't get home until 5:15, so maybe by the time you get to woodland we'll be ready. That's if she goes.

I'm going to try to make this if I can figure out what's wrong with my center diff lock this weekend.

Cool! Shaping up to be another great run!

OK. I'm in. County on me for camping on Friday/wheeling Saturday. I'll probably roll out of work at 4 and hit the road, so be there 6ish. If I bring my pop-up (I need to pick up a drop hitch and probably a new battery:(), I will camp 2 nights. Other wise, I will just crash in the back of the 80 for a night.

So bummed. looks like I won't be going. Not quite ready and I have a lot going on that weekend with family and easter stuff.

Ahhh... too bad man, but totally understandable. Maybe next trip.

Me and the wife are still in for wheeling on Saturday and camping that night. Assuming the weather stays nice. Apparently camping in the snow isn't appealing to her?

If we camp Saturday, is there any plan for a possible Sunday trail?
