about $ 6,25 here for diesel. Think I paid about 6,40 today.

These prices are similar throughout Europe there is some difference but on the whole....
Some things are better some worse every place has its own strong points.

painful.

What kinda economy do you guys have over there right now? Also yall dont have any independent oil do yall? If little to none that likely has a lot to do with prices. Not sure what the cost of living for other things over there is either so not sure how well it all balances out for yall.

not to slut up ho bags thread here to much :flipoff2:

We pay a lot of tax on petrol, that is why the prices are that high. Competition makes cost and benefits balance out otherwise company's will leave the country leaving the economy bankcrupt. So in the end you pay more and get more in return, I hope.:hhmm:

Now back to Keiths cruiser.:D

Don't think my :princess: wants to move because I want to wheel.:grinpimp:

LOL....its all in how you PITCH the deal!

so what do you now do for job one and job two?

so what do you now do for job one and job two?

Im an RN in surgery.
Work at a "big" hospital in town here in the main operating room and my second job is at a little surgery center doing out patient/ day surgery stuff, as needed. Either ME or the Surgery center can say, "yes, I/ we need or want to work." or "Naw...we dont want or need you today." You get paid a bit extra per hr. and its obviously pretty flexable.
Overall, its a great job. The bureaucracy (as with everything else) is what makes it a "JOB". The government and lawyers stick their BIG FAT F*CKING NOSES into EVERYTHING and RUIN IT!
Its the American way now, after all.

Packed the wheel bearings and set the hubs and rotors on this eve....
The pre load was a little tight and I thought i might have had the rear seal in backwards. I called Rustydan and we figured it out. I DID put it in right. I spun the hub a bit and ended up with about 10 lbs set on the pre load. It'll loosen up some, so I think Ill be okay with that. Hopefully get it buttoned up this weekend.

Can't wait to see it on all fours

Good news

So, you're a male nurse? Not many men in your profession, is there Focker?

I hope this is in jest. Seriously, 50% of the new grads are men and it's a great job. Plenty of $$, flexible schedules, good benefits. It's way better than most outsiders would think. What people think of as "good jobs" like factory work or similar--nursing pays 3 times as much and the work is far more interesting.

I will go out on a limb and say there is no better job you can get with just a college degree.

Chicago---i would ignore the way the way the factory sets up the wheel bearings. Set the inner nut to 5 or 10 foot pounds, tighten the outer nut, and bend the tabs. There are too many variables like grease viscosity that mess with the factory spec. I set mine up pretty tight, so they can support more load.

I've talked with Chicago about his work a lot. I'd say working in surgery is way more technical than my engineering job.

Great READ and thanks for the link to it.
I had never actaully read anything on it except...to do it the way the FSM states. Rusty and I discussed that very same thing regarding the seals and the new packed bearings yielding tighter readings on the fish scale. Hence the call to him re. the orientation of the rear seal. I didnt set the lock washer yet cuz I wanted to mull it over for the night with the 10 lb pull reading I was getting...Im glad that you posted up. Ill do it the way you described.

NOOOOOO EFFFFING WAAAAY!
the crap you rattle off gives me little "X"'s over my eyes and birds start swirling and chirping over my head.

My "work" (patients) SCREAM if something goes wrong though.

I hope this is in jest.

Completely! I just saw that movie the other day and it reminded me. Judging by the way Chicago writes about himself, I figured he'd be able to take a little jab for what it was. No ill will meant. Now, back to hardcore tech...
