Are those shocks going to work? They look like they will bottom out well before the axle hits the bump stops. Otherwise going good, can't wait to see photos of it on the trail.

Maybe. I ran em the same way on my 62 and didn't have any issues with it. However, that's not to say I couldn't.
Did somebody say something about posting pictures of your Man Tackle Bump stops? There actually are no bumps on it in the photo. I flexed it out in the garage, and they were fine with that, but well see. I tried both the 10 and 12 in travel shocks.... The 10s left hardly any droop which IMO is far more important than the up travel.
Thanks man!!

Got the 4 low indicator to work!!!!!!!
So aside from the stereo, speakers and console stuff, the wiring is now DONE!!!!
Fawk yeah!!!
And all one could hear in deafening silence was the sounds of crickets chirping.....

Just tell me where you got that heater or what brand / model it is, i searched the thread but only found the pics of it installed.
chicago said:Lol.... Have you not kept up with the peanut gallery in this thread??? Bunch of hecklers!!
The heater is a summit racing Mohave heater. It 28k BTU, so it should keep us nice and warm.

[*]The 40 looks awesome.
[*]I want to know about that heater. Specifically: how noisy is it? Any chance of a simple video so I can compare the noise level to something like a normal talking voice?
[*]That 40 looks great (reiterated). You don't have "ALL WINTER" though. You'll be wanting to tool around with it the instant you can--you'll just go buy a bigger coat so make that happen (ask me how I know).

chicago said:Thanks for the props man. Don't quite know how to post a sound bite up as of yet, but I will say that this motor is as quiet as the heater in my 62. I was surprised at how quiet it is.
You still have that dome light for the back and the light/switch for the center console to get installed. I like the center console light idea, I might just add one to mine.Rusty...

Are you sure the brake lines aren't too exposed to rock damage running under the springs like that? Mine are on top.
