Brass Barb Fittings - PlumbingSupply.com

also, the local hose place here in town has fairly large brass bulkhead fittings, that may be your best bet.

For which issue are you suggesting this link for mace? The firewall/ heater hose, or the vent lines/ roll over valves?

either actually. not the roll over valves, but general plumbing stuff..

I was hoping there was an in line check valve on there I wasn't seeing. All I can find at summit are the bulk head valves.

LOL...YES!
Ive been looking for a decent option for the fuel vent. I had actually ordered the in line vent valve from fuel safe...
Im just thinking that for additional protection in the event of a FLOP that an actual roll over valve would be good on the END of the line. Seems that 3/8 in roll over valve would be okay??? Not too expensive either.

Got any suggestions for diff breathers valves to stick on the ends of those???:D Kinda like the ones from the factory?

No valve in the axle breather..

If you manage to pour most of your axle fluid out, you are doing something wrong... Seriously wrong..

Cool.
The valve I was thinking, was to keep water from going into the diff. I thought that was how that little deal worked from the factory.

That's why you raised the tubing to a high point in the chassi..

You might want to talk to Spressomon, I think he tracked his rear axle seal problems to the factory vent valve clogging up. If I know him he came up with a spiffy solution to the problem.

Just put a cheap or used fuel filter on the end. Keeps crap out and lets the diffs breath. Mine is just zip tied to the fire wall rib on the PS up as high as I can get; no need for anything fancy.

Yes...knocking on wood and crossing fingers it appears I've found the solution to my diff fluid blow by at axle ends, pinion nose and breather! So far after going to 1/2" ID vent hose (clear BTW so I can see what's going on...another CIR sourced part) and 1/4NPTM barb fitting on the axle housing and running straight up to the side of the rear hatch no more pressure build up.

I originally ran the rear diff breather line all the way to the firewall. But I discovered plenty of diff lube sitting in the long horizontal run of 1/4" ID line...that was interfering with easy diff venting.

Used plastic fuel filters from O'Reilly's...I think they were about $7. As above ^^^ any fuel filter will do.

Sam clued me onto this...its amazing how much sloshing the diff fluid does (and subsequent diff fluid migration into the breather hose/line!) on rougher and faster trail sections...and how much real pressure develops in the diff housing assembly.

So progress is obviously been pretty slow lately. Im currently waiting for brass elbows to come in for the heater line from Mcmaster carr.
Did a bit of wiring clean up, gotta pull some more wire, looking to find some roll cage speakers that I like and or can make...Just kinda taking my time right now I guess as I have ALL WINTER to do this now...

Here's a couple shots of the dash gauges and brake lines.

I don't usually like non-OEM gauges, but those are really clean looking.

Are you sure the brake lines aren't too exposed to rock damage running under the springs like that? Mine are on top.

Hey have you put bolts in your yokes??? mine came drilled too small had to buy a bit to drill em out

No. I do have to do that still, and mine too are too small for the cruiser shaft bolts. I've been putting that off for no particular reason.

Maybe. I ran em the same way on my 62 and didn't have any issues with it. However, that's not to say I couldn't.
