Okay... For some reason I thought that the MAS was right off the throttle body.
Holy Christ those cold air intakes are effing expensive!!!!

Anyone come up with alternatives??? Seems that I've read of people doing something with basic plumbing couplers???

mines a specter air intake universal kit from Vato Zone

Nice work Keith, its comming out great. Can't wait to see more.:bounce::bounce2::bounce::bounce2:

Can you meassure the distance between the rear hoop of the cage for me.
And maybe how much room there is between the back of the tub and the cage.
I would realy apreciate it.:)
Check your build thread.:grinpimp:

Michael... I'll get that for you later today. Just so you know, the MT cage is largely adjustable for most of the dimensions as it is a kit that is cut to fit.

Thanks, but Rusty Dan already posted them on my tread.
I know most things are adjustable but the rear is one hoop.

For sure. This has been a community build!:) "If you see a turtle sitting on top of a fence post, you know he didn't get there by himself. "

Are you going to plate the body with 1/8 or 3/16 like a lot of the Heep guys do?

When my buddy went to 1 tons, he wrapped the rear in 3/16 and built tube flairs on top of the plate. It looks really good and it is incredible tough (heavy too, but not really an issue with that sweet motor you are running).

Just curious because the first thing you slide into is gonna crunch that quarter.

And if you already mentioned this, sorry, your thread has gone to epic status and I have already forgotten more about your rig than I know about mine.

Lol... No go on the 1/4's. At least for now. Lots can be done w/ a BFH when that happens.
