All the loose panels are done!:bounce::bounce2:
Finished up the windshield frame and hood this eve. Storing all of these pieces in the HOUSE!
My wife ROCKS!!! All she said was..."they better be DRY!":D

Actually, now that the paint is down, I think an appropriate name for the rig (which is what I originally named it when I got it) would be the BRUISE.
So when you touch up after a trip you can use brown, yellow and green for the total Bruise effect?

UUUUUUUM...yeah!:flipoff2:

Like we believe that, you probably have enough paint for 5 cruisers so you can though up in the right collor after each trip.:D

Don't stop now... Spray the floor you'll be happier in the long run... Al's liner comes in grey and tan. I'm going to spray he 42 with grey, got it at work they even sell a gun to spray it with.

just make sure you dont redneck up my truck

and @ ChicagHo I was gonna tell ya what you were doing wrong with the paint but you already figured it out. on the silver I will say however you were needed to adjust down the paint to a little bit of nothing and likely more air, probably someplace closer to 25-30psi (not sure where you had it set at before tho) and I bet it would have been much prettier. but since you are no longer using it this is a mute point. :meh:

Hurry up and get this skank finished up ho bag!

Tub is prepped, ready for paint tomorrow. Got the gauge panel fitted and the gauges set in just to make sure everything was okay. Cut a hole in the dash for my trans temp sensor, since there was not an empty slot in the panel for it.

One thing I did do that I would ACTUALLY like an opinion on from you guyz here (cant believe Im saying that...:bang:) is the Front drive shaft. Pre lim mock up had me really concerned that it would be TOO TIGHT to the trans pan.
With the tub off I had a better view of it all the way around. Its still pretty close, but not as bad as I thought. However, Id like to hear what you all think. I can flex the front end out with the hoist and see if it changes for the worse.
The other option is to have the DC joint REMOVED and run a single, which would free up more space around it.

Hell I Painted his truck witha spray can

I was a professional painter and did nothing but sit in a paint Booth painting aircraft and helicopter parts for 8 hours a day for Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Heli One. I was required to have specified coverage and precise thicknesses of the paint and a quality finish wi
th no sanding. I am no super bad ass but I know how to get some nice stuff out and how to dial my gun. My favorite was actually a Devilbliss tho I forget the model. It was about $450 a pop.

If I didn't give s*** it wouldn't be me!

Hurry and finish, I wanna wheel with ya sometime.
