Sorry, it's that turrets syndrome thing.

You have to admit it does look like a panty shield.

I thought that would be better for this application vs. borrowing some of your depends adult diapers!:flipoff2:

Welding up those 7 leaks around the sump...was a BITCH!!!!!!
Who would have thought!?!?! Seems easy enough...NOPE.
2 hours later its sealed. Still may do some sort of additional sealant "just in case". There is some metal filler I have been eyeballin that I might try for just that.

Chicago,

Here are some of the pics you requested. as it comes off the intake it heads to a K&N hot rod filter then out to the snorkel. I do not like the K&N setup as it is plastic. I am about to switch to one of the inline filters from Spectre as the container is steel. If you want any other shots let me know.

Thanks for the pics!

Here we go.....

So what MC did you use? Is that the stock booster? What did you end up doing with the EVAP system? Got any pics of the OTHER side of the motor and the battery tray? What throttle pedal did you use? Stock? What cables and how did you route em? Do you have RDB and thus needed a proportioning valve?

Since you offered!:D
Thanks man!

One more...
what are all the wires there on the fire wall to the PS of the motor?

You need a TIG welder...

My stocker tank is at the repair man today too. :frown:

I saw that!
I need MONEY before I need a TIG set up!:D

I will get some more pics hopefully sometime this week. As far as some of the particulars I am not that sure. Metal Tech did the majority of the build while I was in Iraq. As far as the wires they go out to the viar compressors, Rigid LED bar, and my AMP. I do have a proportioning valve. I believe that the MC is a Chevy. I think it is the one used with the BTB disk brake conversion.

Right on! Thanks for the time! Good guyz to have do a build for ya too!

No kidding!
Mine too. Who ever says money cant buy happiness can BLOW ME!

That ain't no shizzle! All I want is a nice built rig a decent shop and a home. Lol maybe a newer tie rig too. Oh well all in time if I can save some duckets.

Oh dear god. You are never going to finish that rig, are you? Rubithon? FJ45 run? Surf & Turf?

Yeah..you need to specify the year.:D

It should be done just about the time the last of the gas is finally gone.

FAWK YOU BOTH!!!!:flipoff2:
Planning on THIS SUMMER 2011, July/ August! Id love to have it running and have tested it out on Deer Valley before our club run on Fordice in Aug/ Sept. I figure I can get the rest of the smaller details I need to get done by June if not sooner. Those include:
Finishing the tank (obviously) which should be done soon, maybe this weekend.
Rear body mounts
F/R bumps
chop rear quarters more
cut in STT lights
build tail gate (have all the stuff for it, just gotta do it)
Finish the shifters
Adjust column a bit
bolt down trans tunnel and do some finish on that
Re do the down braces on the rad. mount
find where I want the battery and build a tray
Finish weld the cage and do the tie ins
Figure out what I wanna do with the dash hole
Pull the tub
Finish weld the stuff I could access BETTER with the tub OFF
Start painting (this'll take some time depending how WELL I wanna do it)
Once paint is done, finish wiring and plumbing
test fire (includes going over all the nuts and bots and stuff)
Exhaust
WHEEL!:bounce::bounce2:

I know though...this has been a LOOOONNG FU*KING BUILD. Im ready to get it DONE at least to the point I can wheel it. May forgo some of the smaller details that can wait to do at a later time.
Ive had to BUILD damn near EVERYTHING! The things that I thought would take no time at all has ended up taking the longest. Shifters, trans hump, tank...christ, even the SOA that I have DONE BEOFRE took a MONTH to get squared away.

Its what I signed up for though.:meh: No one to blame but myself.:bang:

Don't let the great get in the way of the good, if you know what I mean. I'd love to do Fordyce with you this year if the snow ever melts.

I've been thinking, I need to get my 40 back on the trail too...
