Rickd might still have a few repro tool rolls

OMG I just drooled all over my key board :flipoff2:

I paid 100 for my grease gun. Yes you can buy a new one from Toyota but it's not the same one.

What I have been unable to find is the hammer and wooden handled screw drivers. I'd love to have those.

LOL!!

My kit has the hammer and the wood-handle screwdrivers, but (you guessed it) I don't have the grease gun!! :crybaby:

I have the wrench set, too, and the spark plug tool. But I am missing a few other things.

Oops! I sort of overstated what my kit has. It is clearly incomplete. I think I may have one original screwdriver and one oddball. The hammer is original, though.

The canvas pouch has a clear plastic window behind which is a piece of paper with the tool inventory!

can still get the correct hammers, not the screw drivers, can get the open end wrench sets(with clip), newer style grease guns, other bits and pieces

I have a box full of tool kits and tools....now where did I put them?

Great Christmas Gift Idea !!

I know that most of you are sitting around wondering what to put in Rigger's Christmas stocking. Well, the grease gun is missing from my '40 tool roll, so feel free to give one up!

call Cdan, he has the # for them(hamers)

I cant say which Toyota it came out of.....but it was used in the early Cruisers....and "something" else ;)

That early kit in the metal box is SICK...really sick.

would think so.....60 zirts are the same as all others AFAIK

the new GG was not cheap and is an oddball size....so if using it as a tool..there are bound to be better and cheaper choices

will the new grease gun work on fj60 nipples?

Hmm. My 72 came with a grease gun, complete with the short metal fitting.
but i have the canvas type of tool bag with zipper.
never would have imagined they were so sought after.

The later tool kits with the zipper were not as complete as the early roll up bags. As the years went by the tool kits were dumbed down. I think the last of the early roll tool kits were in 68. Finding complete ones in good are someone tough since they are so old.
