oh yea...keep it coming

Adam is our preferred photog. He took a ton of pics the other night but with Cruise Moab has a ton on his plate this week. When we get more we'll post them up.

Absolutely amazing Cruiser! Wow!

Let me know if you need a co-driver, or co-navigator, or someone to just keep it company and wipe it with a soft cloth every morning. :clap:That thing is seriously amazing.

Did you cut the fenders to clear 37s?

There is some minor fending trimming but not much. By SCORE and BITD rules we have to maintain our stock sheet metal.

We raced in a small local race this weekend in Vernal, UT. It was a timed race. 4 hours and as many 17 mile laps as you could do in that time. A sprint in the world of desert racing. We decided to race in the afternoon with the unlimited class vehicles. Which meant we'd be way under-powered with far less suspension travel. Again a small race so only 11 vehicles. A mix of Class 10s, 8 unlimiteds, 1450 trucks and a 4500 rock crawler. We managed to finish 3rd overall. Pretty happy about the result. I'd love to say it's because we have more talent than those other drivers. Maybe we do, who knows. We took 3rd because of the awesome reliability of the 200 series. While the competition was burning up fuel pumps, transmissions, alternators and actually catching on fire we just kept turning lap after lap without a hiccup. Next up for us is the Caliente (NV) 250 in June.

Still trying to figure out how those 37s fit with virtually stock suspension and just minor fender trimming? Do those new king coils in the front provide some lift? No rubbing when turning lock to lock? Front bumper, fenders and hood is all stock landcruiser sheet metal? Asking because I want to pick up a 200 for overland style exploring and was looking at options for bigger tires - amazed that the Slee Offroad 200 project on their site only ran 285/65/18 (32.6") with a 3" lift.

the answer I believe is in a body lift, you can also chat with @MScruiser, he has the answers you are looking for!

Well for an "overland" build, 285's are an appropriate size.

We do get lift out of the Kimgs, we run wheel spacers, trimmed fenders and of course the body lift. Not something I would do for a daily driven rig but it's stellar for a race rig

We had a fantastic race yesterday at the Caliente 250. Wet, cold and super muddy but the Land a Cruiser rocked!

Done. Sun came out with about 20 mins left in the race. Monica, as always, performed like a champion. Water caused some issues with the electrical but otherwise it was a great day. That's a first in class and first of the 2 Lap classes.
