yeah David you only live ten min from there, Someone can come out and get you, it's only about a mile in or so. JP and I are comin in later. I almost had the 40 fixed but we didn't do the valve clearances correctly and by the time we finished it was time to head up to Alan's to do some parts swappin and carnage on the frame in his yard and good conversation, Alan's cruiser is comin along very well, I'm jealous. That Nortic Blue is beautiful. Cut the huge ass bumper off the frame out front of it, only took 1 sawzall blade and 3 cuttin wheels. So we didn't have time to do finish the valves on sunday, so I'll be riding shotgun with JP, we should get up there about 45 min or so after ya'l get there. Just in time to get the fire goin and drink some beer.

We have some coolers here we can use too, if need be
As far as food goes for everyone, I guess we will just do our own thing........ however I am going to make up some dip friday night for everyone to enjoy, but besides that you are on your own.
I also plan on bringing a small grill for myself and anyone is welcome to use it........

Sounds good JP, If you'll buy the burgers and maybe some lunch meat for sat I'll give ya some cash and I can buy some beer on the way up there. That way we can get up there as soon as I get home on friday. Talk with ya later.
SO how do I get there? ANybody have an address to this place? And are we planning on staying two nights? If not I might go up to pisgah and camp out sat night.

The weather is calling for rain on SAt so it might be a wet one. But what do they know 5 days ahead.
I'm stoked. I got the locker installed tonight but have a few questions for someone who has put one in. I want to get it right before I put gear oil in. Cannot wait to thrash the 40. And I've got a name for her. It's Pepe "my little mule"

JP and Gundy both have done the locker thing a couple times so they might be able to answer any questions. Pepe I like that, I believe my pig will be lovingly known as Bessie the buck truck from now on. At least until I come up with something better.

I would take 276 to highway 11...... stay on 11 until you come to a 4-way stop 178 intersects highway 11 here, take a left south onto 178(towards pickens) you will go about 10 miles until you come to Maters store/gas station it will be on your left and it will be the only such establishment you will pass on 178.............
Masters is where the gang is meeting at 630

Well have you ever seen the locals on the trail out there................. if you haven't when you see one you will understand

Dont wander to far away Matt those locals find you and youll be squeeling like a piggy. Seriously though there were 4 kids out there one day and they were on a 4wheeler pulling each other around on this little go cart which was basically a board with wheels and they kept like flying off it and hitting stuff pretty funny to see. Another day some guy rode up the powerline hill on the hood I didnt witness it but wish I had.

I'll bring a tarp so If it does rain we can string it between the vehicles and chill out. And if I can find my poles I'll cut the center out of it so we can have a fire. Have to have a fire if we are camping.
Lantern if I can find mantles for it.
