sorry Fuzz, but hey there's a bangin' hip hop CD in that CD player if you end up taking it for a spin anyway... it's still got some potential and the price is right, so up to you if it's the right one I just pointed out all the stuff I found that I didn't like. Looks like you have already moved on to a 2000 anyway tho...

Dennis thanks again for the carfax.. I ended up getting it, yeah Fuzz the white one at Mike Shaw. Price was a little more than some of the others, but the truck is in reeeeeeeeally nice shape, almost a garage queen. So I'm pretty psyched.. will get a picture up this evening. :bounce:

You're welcome and congrats!

Surprisingly, it's VERY difficult to find decent crusiers here that are within my price range. They sell almost immediately...

This is not that surprising. When we picked up our '02 back in '03, we just happened onto the lot and they had just pulled it around from the back. In fact, it was still dripping from being washed. We had to leave, as the salesman had personal business to attend to. IN THE MEAN TIME, another salesman almost sold the truck out from under us!!! Someone came on within 15 minutes of us leaving and wanted the truck... fight ensued between the salesmen and the manager made the call that I was to get the truck since I was first on the floor and it was NOT my issue with the salesman having to leave.

I about puked, when I found out. Then I got a bit pissed, but it all worked out... for me, at least. :D

How does 13k sound for a 2002 with 101k and Timing belt service at 100k? Super clean 100.

IMHO - Really good. I've been looking for a while and ALL the ones I've seen with that low mileage are asking $16k+.

I'm actually picking up an 02 LX 470 tomorrow for $14,500 with 135k and timing belt done just for reference.

If I would've ran across what you are describing I would've snagged it. :D

X2 on this. I've been looking for weeks, and everything with a price tag that low has either been completely trashed, rusty, or over 150K miles.

If all is well, snap it up before someone else does. They go fast!

Hello all. Just wondering what would be a fair price for a 1 Owner 2003 LC with no modifications and 90,000 miles.

From the description and the photos, the body is in great shape, no rust and the carfax is clean too.

Would reallly appreciate a response.

Also a big Thank You to OregonLC for the Carfax report.

No worries, glad I could help!

Regarding the price, I'd shoot for the $22-23k neighborhood assuming the leather is all good, minimal door rash, etc. Has the t-belt been done? If not, I'd use that as leverage to get the price down some more.

Anyone need Auto Check (similar to carfax, but a svc provided by Experian) run on their potential rig? I'd be happy to run a report for you... PM me. :)

We picked up our '03 100 in May 2009. Dealer, similar description, 83,xxx miles, no T-belt, $21,800.

Ok, as so many folks have posted their ?????s, here goes.
How bout a 98 with 161,000 miles loaded with everything (and I do mean everything) for $8000 sound? Three owners/no accidents/somewhere between good and excellent shape. Only place is the driver's seat has a bit of wear on the outer side from the normal sliding innout. Drives smooth as a 2009 with 23,000 I drove three days ago. No noises, no grinding, nothing to say it has half that many miles?
What say you?

Even though it's 13 years old with a lot of miles, as long as it's still in "good to excellent" shape, I'd say $8000 is a good buy. Make sure TB/WP is good and no rust underneath.

TB/WP = Timing Belt / Water Pump

Thanks,
Still learnin the new terms. And yep, decided to do the Timing belt/seals/water pump and anything else that looks like it will need it while I am there....and I still haven't picked it up yet. First thing in the morning. The parts order will be placed a short time after as I could not find out what work was done other than the first owner.
