The rear Rigids were easy, 3/16" flat stock cut, bent and drill to fit nice and tight with good display of light.

Took the RTT off to fit lights and run wiring. I have a 50" Rigid light bar that was shoe horned into the Prinsu rack. After reading quite a bit about reflection off of the 80 hood from a light bar that sticks out above windshield gasket, I removed the Prinsu air dam and the alum cross member, bent the sides of the rack 1/4" outwards and the 50" bar fit all too snug inside\. Now it sits 3/8" above rack and far back enough to hopefully not reflect light on the hood, Right above the opening of the moon roof with enough clearance and low enough below the top portion of cross members so will not touch bottom or RTT. NOTE to PRINSU: Your Gutter clamps truly are pathetic.

Do you have a little space between your roof and the light bar? Don't want it to vibrate too much and leave a dent/peel your paint.

sits 3/8" above roof

went through the roof for my 12v wiring for lights bar, rear and alley lighting. I see no cleaner solution than the route I took. The small box I chose has a full perimeter gasket as well as the bulkhead fitting and the three cord glands. I didnt want to be restricted to how many wires I run through to access roof, but don't see anymore than these three for now, although certainly enough room for 8-10 more 12g wires. The silicone I chose was Dap clear, use it in my day job and is far superior to any other sealant I have used in the past

Big cojones to do that. Looks good. What lights will you run?
I dont cut corners, especially with a cut like this. All Rigids, 50" bar, two quads for the rear, two DDS for side and two massive pods for the front. I have been totally satisfied with Rigid..below is the typical set up on the 40.

Got old Clark warmed up from winter to help me with shock numbers. Radflo is 16 weeks out, but I got a cheap set of used OME shocks to be able to run around and do a shakedown once its complete...NEVER EVER in my life have I had a build come in within 6 weeks of original projected completion date.,

slight mod to Lukes rear bumper kit: transfer hole for carrier spindle through the bottom of bumper, cut it out 1/8 smaller and crank up your welder and let that wire flow.

bent up some aluminum and tig'd up a box to house all recovery related items. Recovery boards will mount to the side. Terminated all roof light wiring.

my second fav part of every build. I'm a HUGE audiophile......Alpine has always been my go to.....as for speakers, these things should fit the bill, at a depth of 5/8" , there should be zero chance of contact, but massive on sound. I went with Morel 6.5 woofers and component tweeters set up fronts and rears, and an Alpine 10" sub.....more than enough power and quality for this 53 year old Deadhead.

Amazing build. I have that iLX W650 head unit in two of my rigs already and sourcing it now for my LX 470. Been planning on Morels too in the front. Curious to know how you deal with tweeter in rears. I‘ve been looking at Alpine 3ways for rear just to get some midrange, haven’t chosen sub yet as the OEM space is so small, I’m considering a 10” shallow enclosure. Seems like with the minimal depth of the Morels one could pad the doors pretty well. It’d be fun to see where you mount everything, thanks for sharing. And re that sub, sometimes Leah is more…

*sometime Lesh is more….. damn autocorrect

Lesh is more, i agree, except in audio...however...i now have chosen quality over quantity for speaker applications. I have ran Focals for hard hitting years, figured I'd give these Morels a shot. As for placement, the mids are going in all four doors, tweeters will be in the "C" pillar, above second row upper seat belt mount. This is the thin strip of cloth material wrapped cardboard. Will post pics in a few
