If you install a booster and a two circuit master cylinder into your early FJ40 with stock motor, the master cylinder sort of bangs into the carburetor. There's a few different things you can do to resolve the matter, including moving the pedal bucket over an inch or so, or removing that little part off of the carburetor.
I'm opening this thread to see if anyone has thought of, or tried this solution:
The older Ford Broncos have a bracket and linkage mechanism that in effect turns the booster and master cylinder outboard by about 10 or 15 degrees. Here are a few photos that show it.
Anyone tried this? I wonder if this would be a workable solution to add a boosted master to an FJ40.
