Bolt on turbo kit (7 Viewers)

One more for today. I’ve been getting a LOT of requests for headgasket kits because of the turbo coming out. Had a kit put together that put everything needed together. So it’s the typical valve grind kit and headgasket but it’s also the exhaust hardware and oil cooler gaskets.

Initially I was trying to put together a kit with ARP studs and Cometic gasket BUT not only did ARP not want to make Wits’ End a dealer but they are out of stock on the correct bolts. Summit has a few kits left.

As to Cometic, unfortunately the thickness of the gasket all depends on the amount of decking on the block and surfacing on the head. So I figured I’d just offer up the standard head gasket kit.

I'd bet the same. I almost went new shortblock but rebuilt/machined mine instead. Should have gone for broke and built it all out with forged bits of fun.

Mmmmm, forged bits, yah mine will have those or I would have ordered a short block long ago.

Smart.

Which pistons are you going with? Are you going straight for +1?

I have not decided yet. Plan to pick up the parts truck this weekend and start pulling the drivetrain. Engine going to Bill Lee for the rebuild.

We're just happy that the rig is right side up; baby steps....
