1.) Ahh that's nice to see!

2.) Passenger spring perch

3.) Ain't even hot it under the truck and a broken universal joint that someone kept driving on took out the inner and outer passenger axles.

Bling bling bling I love it

When I was loading them I told a buddy of mine to "HEY watch it!! Gonna scratch my new axles!!!" We both just started laughing.

But yea, I'm pretty excited too. Trying to decide on 2.0 or 2.5" air shocks to run up front or if I need to do coil overs instead... Just hope to have it together to wheel in march!!!!

What's the significance here? I'm axle retarded. Although I'm betting they are stronger than Toyota axles

The Dana is a 1 ton Dana 60 steer axle. Stock form stronger than my cruiser steer axle with 30 spline longs in it. Its a big boy axle. The other is a GM Corp 14 bolt full floater. Also a 1 ton axle and a beast, but big and heavy.

That Dana 60 took everything a buddy and I had to get in my truck. It weighs 518lbs!!

Dang man. Truck is gonna be strong. Are the axle widths similar?

Thats the idea, I loved the idea of most all yota stuff, but I am just tired of breaking everything and having problems. Tires are to big and heavy for the yota stuff with the compound gearing and my driving style.

As for widths, if you go back a page or 2 you can see where I already put a 1 ton 14B under the back of the orange truck. The front Dana 60 ir 68" wide and the rear 14B is 67" wide which is right at 10" wider than the cruiser axles. Total width can be adjusted by running different wheel widths and backspacing options. I somewhat touched base on that when I got the wheels for the orange truck to run the boggers but needed new wheels for the 8 lug axles.

axle shaft

Looks pretty awesome! If you want to stick weld that axle shaft, bring it over! You gonna paint that up?

Im running the same axles on my 85. Do yourself a huge favor and shave the bottom of that 14 bolt. Mine hangs down way too low even w 40's and Ive been hung up on it more than once now.

Youll love the width.

If I shave it I will do the Balastic Fab shave job. but that will wait for now, it only hangs down about an inch lower than the yota diff did. I can just run bigger tires if it becomes to big a problem. Just have to learn where it is again to help with avoid getting hung up.

Just grind the lip off for now

Ruff stuff has a kit as well.

Nolink, just google ruffstuff. I have their diff covers/14 bolt pinion guard and its nice stuff.

DEDIT.Ok I checked their web site and they no longer list it. It was on there last winter when I ordered my stuff...

Ahh, Yea I'm all over their site. Dan is a fantastic guy and has always done me right and been more than happy to give me all the info I could need about any of his products. I dont mind forking over the dough for his well built products when I have the $ to do so.

Got the orb of traction all welded with slag knocked off and finished up yesterday and back into the carrier half's. Even tho that 14B is gonna end up under my other 60 still decided to finish it. New 14 has 4.56's and a Detroit already so that will go under orange bitch. Just need to get it cleaned up and prepped.
