As long as the fan was installed at a Toyota dealership we’ll be able to call it factory, because OEM factory is going to be the theme of your build it would be logical to find some coil springs from a Toyota made in the 80’s and retrofit them to the pig.Fan in the corner of da Dash
I believe the OEM fan is only a single speed. You could upgrade to a three speed, but would need to increase bearing size and add a scab plate for stronger mounting.
Well, if you want your fan to really cool down your cab, I’m afraid the OEM fan is far too inefficient. You’re going to need this -

That will work, but going to lose points at the Show & Shine unless we put a Toyota sticker on it.

We aren't looking for a good A/C fan we're looking for a factory A/C fan, simply slapping a sticker on a good fan won't make it factory. It needs to be installed at a dealership.
