Picked up 3 hoses from the dealer today....

ONE HUNDRED AND TEN DOLLARS!

I’m going to return them after I take to O’reilly’s and make sure the ID is correct.(2 straight fuel and one for VSV)

I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t even ask the price when I ordered them because they were just a few pieces of hose.

Yeah, I'd return those. If you're hell-bent on OEM, then go with Partsouq, Mcgeorge, Modern, and a few other places. I find that partsouq bests everyone when it comes to packaging and shipping. Even through all the s***e weather, I ordered a few things on Tuesday and they arrived yesterday via FEDEX for only $13 for shipping.

By the way, you're crushing it...when is this beast gonna be fired up and driven?

You Special order in non stocked hoses and now you’re just gonna return them after you use them at a parts store to match up. Hopefully they have a 90% restocking fee !
Did you read the cost

ONE HUNDRED AND TEN DOLLARS!

Toyota has a return policy.

When I picked it up I said “wow, that’s way more than I expected”. The sales rep said, “bring it back in if you can find a cheaper alternative, you can probably pick up some fuel line at NAPA“.

I don’t know about you but I don’t have golden balls.

It looks like it’s 16 inches of fuel line. That’s almost $7.00 an inch! $7.00 an inch!

I went to NAPA and the lady matched it. She had 2ft and gave it to me for FREE!

Be nice, you should never wish ill will on others.

Thanks, I’m waiting on one more knock sensor connector to arrive. I don’t want to put the intakes on until that’s done so I’ll have the room to install easily.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it!

Wife’s getting tired of intakes in the living room :)

Very nice. You're a man after my own heart. You pay attention to detail. 👍
Thanks, it’s hard not to paint it when I have the time (waiting on parts). Takes a lot of time though :). I wash each part in the sink with dawn. Spray it off with brake cleaner. Put 3 coats of primer (10 min wait, primer, 10min wait...then wait an hour, put three coats of engine enamel on it waiting 10 min between each. Then I don’t touch it for 2or 3 days while it cures.

Yeah, I had both my diff thirds in my living room after I had them geared.
HaHa....!

Hear Ya. My shop was a mess.....so when I was doing the front end on my LX470 I just put the parts (lined out) in a spare bedroom. Wife was about to have a fit, so I had to hurry and get that project done.

Yea, I replaced it. That’s a new one in the photo.

Make sure to adjust the valve correctly. Ignition on and it’s either full cold or hot (can’t remember) then put the cable end in and snap the tab that holds the cable. Finally replaced mine and did it correctly after having it installed wrong after I did my head gasket.

They are probably the same clamp or very similar.

Breeze Constant-Torque Hose Clamp, SAE Size 10, 9/16" to 1-1/16" D
I knew that mine was bigger than yours :)

I asked my wife and she said that mine was huge!

Just kidding! The clamp on the PHH did feel kind of funny though when I was tightening it (like it was riding up onto the flange as I tightened it, moving outward). In hindsight it was.

I bought some clamps the size that you indicated and it fit well (felt fully seated, not riding up on the lip). I’m glad that I double checked. The guy at o’reilly’s gave me the wrong size clamp and I didn’t even check.
