Wait, why are you going to hidden falls without the rest of us?
Going to visit family that lives near. This is more of a test run for the wife and kiddo than off road trip. just camping and mild wheeling to get them comfortable for Mardi Crawl when thongs usually get crazy :hillbilly:

Thongs? Lol

Quick update on my GX! Both rear airbags went out after running some pretty rough fire roads a few weeks back so I ordered the rear radflo kit from Kevin and will be putting them On soon. Today I installed the isolator kit from Metal Tech, clean/adjusted and lubed my calipers, trimmed my rear mud flaps and registered for Mardi Krawl!!

WHOAH! .... gonna be RaD! .... cant wait to got wheel with you!

What fluid do you use to lube your calipers? I rebuilt some on my 80 that seized up. Hoping to avoid that on the GX.

Sorry I am just getting to this but I use Permatex brand Caliper lube and will clean and lube them every 30k on my vehicles.

Adding these for later documentation but I have done a few things to Black Betty in the past few months. Added a Safari Snorkel, ARB diff breather kit, Odessy 31m battery, SPC light racing upper control arms and finally getting around to adding my Radflo 2.5 resi shocks for the rear this week. SSO is finishing up my rear bumper that I am very excited for! Hit 109k on the way back from the farm and have been running Amsoil for the past 3 oil changes and notice it is hardly dirty at 5k intervals.

Did you have to make any changes to fit the battery? It doesn't look like it but just making sure.

Battery is going out on the wife's gx. Might as well replace it with something better in preparation for when i take it over later this year.

Was my even sure where I left off on this thread but a lot has happened . SSO (WGW) slider, SSO rear bumper GX460 front brake upgrade, spidertrax spacers and dynomat the entire vehicle. Now that I am towards the end of the mod list I am looking for another vehicle (wife wants a 100) so it is time to wrap this one up by the begging of the year and move on. Here are some recent pics.

So what is the story on the 460 brake upgrade? Looks nice and I need to do brakes on my GX.
Caliper pistons are 3mm bigger rotors are (forget exactly how much) bigger and pads are a little thicker. Same price as the parts for the 470 but bigger. For how much more weight I have the extra stopping power was needed.

Excellent work, I will certainly go this route on my build. Also, what did you have to do to fit the Group 31 battery? I have one in my 40 and would have never guessed it would have fit.
Really nothing. I removed the battery tray and used a Tundra battery hold down I had laying around.
