Hey all,
I have a pair of low milage Bilstein 5100: 33-185606 rear shocks. 0-2" lift. They didn't fit my early 40 but will fit later cruisers. Early 40s use the "front shocks" both front and rear. lesson learned. These are great shocks and I am very happy with them on my rig.

Dumb question, how early is early? I need new rear shocks for a US 1966 fj45 with a 1.5 inch spring lift. Would these fit or should I get another set of the front Bilsteins 33-062518, for the rear?

I believe its 73 and earlier are all equal length shocks. FJ45 could be different, let me confirm

The 45 does indeed take longer rear shocks compared to the front.
