Woke up today and decided to conquer my fear of messing with the p pump. I figured if I can reduce fueling a tiny bit I can also lower the egt while cruising. I don't like that I'm constantly between 1000 and 1200 degrees at 70 or more.

Took off the housing and slid the fuel plate a hair to the rear towards the driver. It was all the way forward.

Next I wanted to adjust the star wheel but I didn't have a five point security star key. I went to orielly and they didn't have one either. I ended up buying one online so it will be here in a few days.

I plan on adjusting the star wheel and seeing how I can find that happy medium.

In the meanwhile I picked up a cheap paddle board and gonna go enjoy the lake.

I'm having starter issues. Had to roll it downhill to start. Readjusted my hand brake. Always little stuff with this thing.

I used a chisel to knock off all the stupid non normal bolts and replaced them with allen head bolts.

How violent of a start is it when popping the clutch.? Ive been meaning to try it just to see how it feels.

Either the starter is on its way out or you have a weak battery. If the starter is completely gone it wouldn't start during a push start.

I keep a spare stater in the truck. It is probably just as easy to get to as on the Toyota motor right?

Mike, did you install a dedicated starter circuit relay back when you were having problems starting?
