Ive started sanding a polishing the paint.. 5 hours to do the tail gate and hatch, but at least i got these shiny new emblems on. All thats left is the rest of the truck..

It very hard to photograph the paint because of the flake, it really obscures the finish. That is part of way its taken this long to do this. Im not doing a super flat or showcar type wet sanding, im knocking off the peaks and letting the heavy cut compound do the rest of the work. Anyway, heres another night of progress..

Ive spent a months worth of frre time working on my back yard, i was finally able to spend some time on the truck this weekend, got two more doors done, started cleaning up the rear markers, tinting my taillights, and looking at my new window trim..

The tint makes the reverse and turn signal almost perfectly red, but when lit from behind, its mostly the original color..

I been thinking about doing that to my tails but keeping the reverse white/clear. Great job!

Shoot I didn't think the reverse would light up so clear after being tinted. I wonder if this would look good on my 560...

Its pink for sure, but it is not solid red like youd think.. if i did 5 coats instead of 12, it would be much whiter..
