Its pink for sure, but it is not solid red like youd think.. if i did 5 coats instead of 12, it would be much whiter..

Idk if you can the difference between the factory gold(left) and the replacement gold plated emblem(right) but theyre very very close.. grille and front trim painted.

I bought a big fancy new toy, updates when it arrives. In the mean time heres a couple progress pictures of the buffing.. i really under estimated the amount of sanding i have to do, never again lol.

@MongooseGA came over and helped a ton, the wet sanding and buffing is almost done, and ill never do it again.

The flake obscures the reflectivity of the finish up close, but from a distance you can really see how nice it shines. I also installed some RHD depo headlights, actual glass, which was a surprise.. i have a small section of roof left to sand and then i can finally ceramic coat it and start driving again.

Got it outside for a wash. All the buffing is done and its finally clean. I have new window trim and a few things to install, then i can start the ceramic..

Ive never used a foam cannon before, its super cool!

I forgot to post this the other day when installing my taillights.. stupid bright colored LEDs in the housings to help ensure correctly colored light through those red tinted lenses. And i painted, and buffed tanks for my brother harley, its rustoleum from home depot..

Why RHD headlights?

Couldnt find any LHD Depo assemblies. Word on the street is theyre a copy of some the jdm lights and they drive on the worng side of the road, so their headlights are wrong too. Im not a fan of the quad/aussie style, i know theyre becoming the thing to do here now, but its not the look i wanted for my truck.

Have you actually checked the cutoff? At a glance, the reflector design in the pic you posted looks the same as the two sets of Depo lights I have and mine have correct cutoff for LHD.

You know, they actually say RHD/LHD on the housings themselves. Maybe they are LHD lights… i havent had it out on the road with them yet, so ill update when that happens

Okay, im finished with this project. Its as clean as its ever going to get, and the ceramic is nice and slippery, hopefully the mud and dust has a much harder time sticking and is easier to rinse off! Heres a few pictures that clearly illustrate how shiny this bitch is now.. you can see the difference in orange peel between the under snorkel area and in front of it..

Ive started a side quest in the name of support for a main quest of re-designing my bumpers. I went to @MongooseGA house to cut some spacers for one of my new tools.
