Getting the list updated. Everyone so far is covered....Once we get the seals in, I'll PM everyone who expressed an interest in this thread since the last production run.

The manufacturer provided me with an update today. They are delayed in getting the die dialed in. Apprarently they are having some troubles at getting the dimensions in spec and it's a trail and error process. Anyway, they are working on it and I'll update you guys as soon as I hear something....I thought this time around things would go quicker not slower!
 
I just found this thread the other day. Please let me know when you get some in. Just starting resto on a corrugated top.

Got all of you added. Manufacturer is still playing with the dies to get the dimensions right on. They said the sample could get shipped next week.

Vertical seal went to another manufacturer today. Hoping this one will be willing to quote a small run.

Thanks. Still working at it. Apparently production is not communicating with sales on the order. Not sure what the problem is. I have a call in with the plant manager to see if I can get them moving.

No word back from my contact on the vertical seals either. I'll keep working at this one too. At the very least I need to recover the seal I have on loan from Wes.

Thanks for the update. They may have some hangups at that place but at least they are willing to make them without a 10,000 ft minimum order. I was checking some places before I found this thread, pretty tough out there. Thanks for your efforts. :beer: :beer:
 
Good news, manufacturer is sending sample for the horizontal seals today! I hope to have in my hands by early next week. I will post pics and measurements. PM your address to me if you woild like me to mail you a small piece to look at before I give the go ahead to go to production.

Still nothing on the verticals, but I'll keep working at it.
 
Nice...maybe put up some pic's when you get a chance. Would be almost perfect timing. Will be finishing up the top resto here in a few weeks :-)
 
Sample seal is in! Must have arrived Friday or Saturday. Just getting unpacked from a weekend away, but I had to open the box and snap a pic. Section on left is first run repro. Middle is original. Right is current sample.

Current sample is definitely taller than the 1st repro. Matches up with the original pretty well. Please PM if you'd like me to send you a small piece to look at. Going to install in one of the cruisers this week to test the fit of the top seal.
