What are the significant difference between round and square bezel?

That was a big thing for the Series Land Rovers with their funky noses. For the Toyotas I dont think it was a big difference.

It is true.

Take a round bezel and try and set it over the head lamps of a square bezel bib with headlamps in it.

You will see the difference.

If you're one of the people that's in this for resale value, you can't ignore the fact that the square-bezel trucks 'led the charge' in the drive-up of value.

But, even with 3:70s, they couldn't outrun the rust.

For what it's worth I was told by a guy here in the Philippines who does a lot of work on 40s that the square were on BJs and the round on FJs.

Got back from Daytona so added a couple pics. Bottom Black is from a 1/79. Top white is from 12/74. Top pick shows mounting hole difference. Next pic shows Square Bezel is about 3/8 to 1/2 inch wider at each light hole.

I guess with cutting and narrowing you could make it work but why would you?
