bezel color (1 Viewer)

I just bought a White 79 Fj40, whats the original color of the bezel for a white truck? Mine came with a kinda silver one (look the avatar). Thanks!

some were apparently painted with the same paint used on the glovebox door, ashtra, and gauge panel. I've seen it called different names, most often "pewter".

I read someplace, don't ask me where, that all white FJ40s came with black bezels, other color Cruisers had cygus white. I run black on my white Cruiser just because I like the look.

there was off white, a kinda tan/white and chrome

to be honest, i like black the best on the round bezels, but for a 79, defintely white.
