I went with the one from my local dealer. $464. A little pricier than online but no shipping cost a d I can look it over before I accept it. Hopefully I'm not just waisting money.

General question for those folks that are reading this thread. When I was looking at replacement radiators I reached out to Ron Davis to see if they offered a factory fit for the 100 series, they do not. They did offer to build me one but needed to see the exisiting radiator to work off of. Now that I've replaced my stock radiator with a CSF, I was thinking about shipping my factory radiator to Ron Davis to build an all alloy replacement. It would be expensive but since I plan to have this vehicle another 20 years, it may be the right investment.

Would others be interested in a Ron Davis option? Others have told me they have a great product and attention to detail.

Just got back from the shop with my new Mishimoto. Had it out in I4 in 88 degree mid-day Tampa heat with the AC full blast at 75MPH, coolant temp was dialed in at 184 the entire time.

Just providing an update.

About a couple months with the replacement Koyorad radiator and no leaks, and running at 188 FWT or lower.

I originally purchased the CSF Radiator about half a year ago and finally installed it the other week with all new OEM hoses, OEM clamps, and OEM thermostat. I did notice the small drip on the bottom of the lower radiator hose that people are talking about but I was lucky and got rid of it by moving the new OEM clamp on my new OEM hose a few mm toward the "barb" of the radiator hose fitting and the leak completely went away. Here's a pic of where it ended up:

After a few days of driving around I noticed the radiator leaking around the top where the plastic attaches to the metal:

I ended up going big and ordered up the Mishimoto Aluminum and installed that as well as a new fan clutch and Denso Condenser as my old one was beat up pretty bad. Temps are now around 183F-190F all day long.

I've had the Mishimoto all alum rad in the truck for a few months and a couple thousand miles and after having a little trouble burping the system, its been rock solid.

However, the shop that did the install apparently had a helluva time putting it on and looks like they had to hack the s**t out of the lower section of the fan shroud, anyone else have that issue? They did call and ask me if they had permission to "modify" some things to get it to fit.

I'll have to follow up with photos later since the truck is currently getting the seal on the rear output shaft of the transfer case fixed. But when it comes time to do my second timing belt service I'm gonna need to add a new fan shroud to the already long laundry list of parts at 200k.

Everything bolted up perfectly for me. No modification to anything needed.

Does your temp stay 184 like the entire time? Not even any temporary swings? Mine likes to stay around 186-192. But I also haven't tested it in really hot weather either.

After spending the last two afternoons removing, flushing and replacing with a New TYC from Amazon, it leaked immediately when I went to fill it up. From the passenger side top corner. Back to the drawing board.

Has anyone had any luck with a Carquest Premium radiator?

I bought one 8 years ago for a Nissan. It lasted 5 years and started leaking around the tank. I took it back and got another one under warranty. They make the warranty good. It's just the hassle of having to swap after 5 years. I have had that experience with other parts.

On the other hand, over 11 years ago I bought a replacement radiator from NAPA for an Infiniti. That one is still running without issue.

So long ago and I'm sure both companies have changed suppliers by now.

That lifetime warranty and the ability to get it locally have me thinking about going for it. This TYC from amazon was a nightmare.

I would like to get a Koyo A22882, but I can't find any clarification on fit. Everywhere I can find it tells me it fits a 98-2002. I'm pretty sure I saw someone in here say they put it on a 2007 though. @FxFormat, is this still working for you?

I followed @flintknapper lead with a Spectra Premium that I bought at RockAuto. It came very well packaged. No issues so far.

Mine was packaged well too. No damage at all during shipping, despite the box being somewhat beaten up. I've had mine now for about 4 years...no issues at all.

Dimensionally, 98-07 are the same... with same position of hoses, mounting holes and all.
What's the difference between the two different OEM rads from 98-02 and 03-07? Price difference on those is $100+. Just wondering what differences there are, and why Koyo, for instance, wouldn't just list the A2282 as 98-2007, as Mishimoto does with their aluminum rad (but not with their plastic tank rad for our vehicles).

Yep, works wonderfully in the 100 degree heat we had last year

All models should work for all years. There are differences in the design but likely so subtle that 99% of the people won't care or won't notice. See post in this same thread...
