@FloridaLife If you are wanting to save money, you can just use the original GM bracket and not bolt the PS pump into it.

I thought about that, but some of the search results said you don't get enough belt wrap around the watered pump and it can slip and get hot. So it was recommending a bracket with an idler pulley. But, you are the expert. Have you done that on some and they had no problem getting hot or slinging the belt?

I have new favorite 40 mod, 4 link & coilovers, if I could afford sway bars I would do the front to but for now the front leafs keep the sway managable.

Hey, I don't think I've heard anyone mention that one yet. Tell me about the difference, and feel free to post some pics of it.

Diff is you can get on throttle and move over stuff you would have to wait to clear and stop bouncing before. My back doesnt hurt, I stretched it to 100 " wb so it climbs where it used to hop or lift a tire, it walks lines that took throttle before.

So, almost a 55s wheelbase...
Yup and prolly close to same lb's, somewhere between 4300 & 4700 lbs for the 40 I'm guessing.
I got 80 lbs of crap in the roof bag for Rubithon so we'll see if it makes her tippy too much. Tested on Memorial day and it worked well, I dont think the weight up top is an issue at all after seeing some of the load outs going by on Memorial day, it was packed & so were the rigs just stacked, crazy.

Well, don't do this! When my dad lived in Colorado we used to love going over Blackbear Pass, the toughest 4wd spot in Colorado. The first time we got on it by accident, not being familiar with that area, and once we were on it there was no way to turn around and go back. I even took my seatbelt off and opened the passenger door and held it and told my dad "I love ya, but if this thing starts to roll I'm jumping!" Since then we have seen multiple vehicles lose it and roll over. Check out this super short video, and stay safe on the Rubithon:

Vintage Air??? New
Anybody out there running an FJ40 with the vacuum 4x4 lever on the dash and the cowl vent tab And running Vintage Air? If so, which unit did you find fit in there correctly?

Also is anybody out there running with the vacuum 4x4 lever and cowl tab and EPS with a Vintage Air setup?
