Got my ScanGaugeII upper console mount early last week along with the M27 mic adapter for one of the switch ports. Had a quick minute after running around yesterday to play with it and got the mount installed. ScanGauge is coming as my Christmas present to myself so that will be here in a week or so (no rush on shipping that for me). I will get a pic of the mount installed once the sun comes out more.

Also, since have been running the prototype cupholder for Ben all these months, I am happy to say that I have never noticed the bottom of my cups getting hot (did a 3hr wheeling trip yesterday) nor is there any oddities or anything that I can report. She is as solid as the day I installed her. Ben was nice enough to send me out a finished version of the cupholder (mine still had the phone/pen slot) with the pads so when I get a minute this week I will install that as well. I am sure there will be more random odds and ends from Ben in my future...

I appreciate your comments on the cupholder. It helped a lot shape the final version.

We hit 100 pages!

Hey Ben,

I have read through this entire thread, and I believe that I found the answer, but just to make sure, will the final version accommodate the yeti mug that @gregnash said wouldn't fit in the prototype?

Thanks!
Dan

Which mug? Do you mean the 14oz mug with a handle?

Hi Ben,
Are you still working on the fog lights housing for the 100 series LC. The prototype you circulated around looked really good and I am interested in a set.
The design of the fog light mount is all done. I have also tested them in snows. They held up good and no rust on the fasteners. I am going to post them in a few days.

Excluding the pinned threads (100 Series Photos, FAQ, etc.) this thread is in 4th place for total number of replies and first message reaction score :)

Making the 100 a little more user friendly, one mod at a time. Thanks Ben for giving us some useable cup holders! The change pocket ram mount for the phone, paired with the BT-45 module, definitely helps as well.

2 Introduction

The fin/teeth structures are designed to force air to flow through the heatsink. The fin/teeth structures are not necessary for D2 lights to work. But for 3d printed parts, it barely adds to the fabrication cost. D2 fog lights are recommended. The mount is designed to accommodate the wide light pattern (85 deg).

Very excited for the fog light mount! Looks awesome. What setting is “fog light test 3”?
How much will those cost you think? Only the Rigid D2 fit in those?

All videos were taken with D2 Fog lights installed.

Rigid Industries DOT/SAW Fog Light Set (D-Series) - 504813

I am calculating the material and print time cost.

Yes only D2 and its knockoffs fit.

Weren't you also trying to make a Baja Squadron Pro version too?

Yes. Working on it. But the light I have is Squadron Sport. Are they same?

Looks like the light you have is the Baja Squadron-R Sport. The Sport and Pro difference is the lumens...the Pro and the Race are much brighter, but the housing is identical.

One issue may be the round house. The square housing is much more available. Also wouldnt a square housing fit your 3D part better then a round one?

My 14oz Yeti coffee mug does not fit.

It still doesn't fit in the new version? The measurements seem to indicate that it should.
