Beasley Knob July 5th (not a typo)

Josh is coming back for the July 4th weekend so we're going to Beasley on Thursday morning. He hasn't wheeled since he left in Januuary so I'm sure he's looking forward to handling his junk --So, we're gathering to help him.

Hope no one rolls here either...

I think we should start off on 93B :bounce: I'm ready to go now it's been too long since the last time I wheeled.

So far, it looks like I only have Wednesday, the 4th, off. So I likely cannot make this like I thought I would when I figured it to be that weekend.

Josh,
I did not realize that you were gone and I see by your sig-line that you are in Pleasanton CA. So are you permenantly relocated to the Bay area or out there for school/training? Hope you have a great visit back.

I can't say its permenant yet because my fj40 is still in Atlanta but I do have a new job and apartment here.

Congrats on the new job. I hope it opens doors to new opportunities for you ...

plus vast wealth too boot.

nice to have some civility on here for a change.

I'm all for hittin' it but lets get a few trails done first. Weather forecast is actually looking decent compared to right now.

should we put the training wheels on the 40 since it's been awhile?

If the training wheels will keep me from rolling again I'm all for it :D

Where are the pics...

did more riding than picture taking. Dennis is right, had a great day as Beasley was in perfect condition. It was kinda cool having Dennis buzzing around on his quad knocking all of the spider webs down ahead of us too.

It was great having the missing crew member back today---God's speed but we do truly miss having you around!

We ran into a brand new white 4 door Jeep all by itself, it was was actually pretty nice but the D-rings were painted white to match the paint job. It was utterly ridiculous. :hhmm:

Here's a few:

I've pretty much decided that off-road rigs are like mistresses, if ya neglect them too long they're gonna make life miserable ...lots of this today:

Wall of shame

I thought I was the only one allowed to get hung up on fallen trees.

yep, twice the truck and half the log. In all fairness I thought I'd be a smart-a$$ and driver over it but nearly did the same thing.:steer:

Looks like it was great fun yesterday. I got to drive my PC all around the internet doing research work. Cannot say I ran into any logs, but I had multiple log jams in my thought process... Would have loved to go, but very limited vacation days with the new job.
