I’m still interested in a pin. Can you pm me please.

Wayne

Sorry, nothing personal. I try really, really hard to avoid doing business by PM. It’s all I can do to keep up with business by telephone.

Hey @UncleW, sorry for such a delayed response.

Please get in touch with Mark Offroad.

He will be able to supply you with a pin, but you'll have to fabricate the ball and bolt.
Use a 1/2 ball bearing and have it Tig welded to the 6mm bolt which treads into the pin.

Roger that. Will call in January after the dust settles.

Ok guys so far I got all the original stuff, except 2 things. The handle/ball and the spring. What I have is the housing and the pin that slides up and down. I may just use a 6m bolt and call it a day. But what spring do u recommend ? I never felt it, is it stuff or very soft ?
That didn’t sound right ....jus sayin

Go shopping at your local Ace hardware... they have a pretty good selection on springs...spring diameter and stiffness. They need to be pretty stiff. It may take you a couple of times to find it, but you'll know it when you see it.

I was going to take a ball bearing and tig weld it to 6mm bolt. It will look perfect!

So are the ball bearings at Home Depot ? And I can mig weld it (don’t have a tig)
Would u cut the head of the bolt off and weld to the stud ?

Tig does a nice weld in my honest opinion...

Yes cut off the head and weld on the ball bearing.

Here's a few measurements.

Bump on the pins. I misplaced them for a while, but found the bag again yesterday.

I am taking orders for anyone needing a bolt / barrel latch to fit their barn / half doors.

I was not successful in finding any so I am taking orders for anyone interested.

These are machined parts from the original Mr Toyota style. The kit will include the spring.

Cost is $90 plus shipping.

Douglas
You still have these?
