Wanted rear split door pin latch

I have a 71 fj40 and one of the very last pieces I need is this latch. If anybody has a nice one, let me know and we can work out a price and shipping if necessary.

I am working on a repro pin for that latch. Is your latch housing still intact?

I believe his housing is intact. If I remember correctly, whoever owned it before had used a nail and screwed some other latch onto the door, but i think they left everything else intact. Been a while since I looked at it though.

It was a long bolt that the p.o. had in it. The tube that holds the pin is all I have,I need what ever else goe's to the latch. I also need a cowl vent gasket,not the windsheild gasket. just a little info on my 71 fj40, I rebuilt and or replaced everything or am in the proscess of doing so. 5.3 vortec 4l60e the works,will do a thread when done. thanks to all of you for the help.

Check your catalogs. I believe that part is still availabe from some of the mail order places (if you are speaking of that spring loaded pin that extends down into the body and locks the one door in place).
