Who needs brackets for these? I pulled off the handles and took some measurements... Bare metal, no holes for your mesh shelf or whatever(you decide), but punched for the factory grab handle screws. What$ fair? (not sellin, just askin moderators:D ).

Press broke and punched. 2 @ 7/16" hole 3/16 or 10 gage plate(whatever's handy). My trucks not on flat ground so 60 degrees may need fine tuning..

I'm going to attempt to add a skinny speaker box to this location, along with the shelf, since all our door panel/dash choices are playing music to people's kneecaps, lol.

finished mine today, 10 bucks for the rack, it is beige so it matches the headliner, a couple bucks for some washers and 7 bucks for the brackets. I cut the brackets down a bit and bent them to fit. Used a few zip ties to attach to the speski barrier to avoid any vibrating.

Sorry for the late reply, looks like you figured it out. I just eyeballed mine. Held them in place with my welding magnet to where the angle looked right. Not as scientific as yours :)

Here's my 6$ attic.
Bad pics I know. It was getting dark

I'll probably keep an eye out for a sturdier shelf and possibly will make some brackets.

What is on the inside of the grab handles? Just plastic? Or is there a metal strap that runs through?

Nobody?

Stamped steel around roof structure. Pretty legit since it needs to support 300 lb people using it to move around. I'll have about 50-60 lbs on mine

the grab handles have a metal core...

1973Guppie, thanks for posting these photos. I had wondered if it was going to work with the Speski, a set of drawers, the Tembo Tusk & an ARB fridge. I was finally able to get out to the 80 today and it looks like it'll work. Where did you pickup your parts, Home Depot, Lowes, or other? Did they have any in grey?

got it all at Home Depot, I like the 16 inch "shorter" rack as it allows room for my dogs head towards the back hatch. I plan to build a wagonrack for the rear eventually. It will be tight with the 2 dogs but it should all work.

Agreed and was thinking along the same lines... Gotta save some room for the furry friend.

Ghetto rigged with zip ties until I decide if I like it and want something more permanent. I also use the 3rd row at times as a shuttle bus

Where'd you get this. I want one. I hate the closet shelf and can't find a suitable alternative

Looks like your average steel shelving...
