Hard to forget what you never knew.Don't forget about Freeport Maine. Home of L.L. Bean.![]()
Funny thing is I’ll be moving to Santa Rosa Beach in the next five years and when I mentioned that to a fellow mud member, he thought it was Santa Rosa Beach California. So clearly we have not the best naming convention in our country these days.A bit further afield than your geographical boundary but @cruisermatt has a good reputation. FWIW, "Freeport" to most of us would mean Freeport, TX or maybe Freeport, Bahamas. I am from the area and had to google Freeport to figure out why you were in Florida and your friend was in Texas.![]()
@cruisermatt thanks for chiming in. What area are you located - or what area do you conduct all your wizadary-magic?We work on Cruisers from that area all the time. All over the southeast really.

I should have mentioned them. They dropped and reinstalled the transmission on my FZJ75 and did a very good job. They have also worked on my 80 series (brake system all around). No complaints with either.Eagle Imports in Auburn, AL is a shop that works mainly on Japanese and European imports. The guys are not Cruiser specific but one of the owners has a couple of 60s, a 40 and my son @cruiserinsanity works there.
understatement of 2024.I own a few trucks
