Got the tires! Toyo M/T's. 315's. They look sweet.

The tires look great! I have some old procomp tires and are noisy. How loud are the Toyo tires on the highway?

Looks sweet. I'll be in the market for MT's as well in the near future. I've been considering these and the Nitto's.

are you running OME 850 front and 863 rear springs? anything else, spacers?
Sorry for the late reply - I haven't been on MUD for some time. Life gets busy... I'm running OME heavy on both rear and front. My pictures are shown without any load in the back. I'm definitely going to put 1" spacers in the front as the front end is lower than the rear and at some point I'm going to do a winch/steel bumper. I figure that with the spacers, by the time I load it up with gear in the back, winch in the front, it should be close to level.

Picked up an Aussie Locker and had my buddy install it as it's over my head. Put in new rotors and rear brakes while we had it torn apart. Everything looked good in the diff and tolerances were spot on. Here's a few pics.

Been a long time since I posted on my build - here are some pictures of my 4x4 Labs rear bumper build. These bumpers are about $2500 if you buy them fully built. The kits are around $1500 and I picked my kit up used for $700. Add another $100 in shop supplies and BAM - one kick ass bumper. This probably took me 40 hours to build and countless beers. It was rewarding and turned out good by my standards but.......I'm not sure I would tackle this project if I had the choice to do over again. I got such a good deal on it I just couldn't pass it by.

I haven't welded anything in about 20 years. I used a Hobart 210 welder. Much easier than my farm days working with an arc welder! The good thing about this forum is that you can post your good welds and not the ones that sucked! A 40 grid sanding wheel on the grinder made quick work of areas that needed to be cleaned up.

Finished product (almost)! Just little more rattle can and I'm ready to go! I used the same flat enamel paint on this that I did on my sliders. It's very forgiving.
