ISO 80 Series Hood

I posted this a year or so ago, but I am still on the hunt for a rust free and strait 80 Series hood. Perfect fit would be the Champagne Metallic from the 1997 LX450, but I will take whatever I can get and paint it.

@RHINO thanks for the reply. The A343 XMSN has zero value out side the LC community as far as I know, so I really don't have any desire to hang on to it. I am going to do it as an all in one package unless someone else needs a XMSN. Who knows. I will keep the offer in mind.

As for the conversion to an F, I would love to hear about that from a curiosity perspective.
going from EFI to carb is pretty straighforward really, the other way round is rediculous.

intake manifold, carb and dizzy swap, then little stuff like blocking EGR and other sensor ports, flywheel ect.

Those graphics are cool. The price for that 40 is dumb.

Actually very few pictures and history to even guess at a price. Third owner but not how long the current owner has had. Long time owner or just a flipper? Odometer shown mileage doesn't mean a lot with out documentation backing it up. These only go to 99,999 before rolling over. Pre 81 no Carfax history. One dash picture none of the underside or engine compartment. Does show some rust repair but not how much or how it was repaired. Would never spend any real money on a patch job rear sill. Rear sill pays a big part in supporting the wheel wells and hard top. Think current market high regardless. Even more in the Southwest versus rust belt. If I was in the market I would go where I've seen a 77 or 78 parked in a driveway for years. Not fancy paint job but has the original dune beige with an intact rear sill.

More 2a.
308 or 3006

200 rds of .30 06 HXP 160.00
200rds winchester 308 160.00
If you don’t get any takers, AJI over in apache junction picked up some oddball stuff from me for way more than I expected.

He is in Tucson and has had it for quite some time. He isn't a flipper but rather a collector /owner and the valuation is based on comparable 40's that he has seen sell for $40k

Quite some time means different things to different people. My newest one is going on twelve years since I bought it. My original one will be forty nine years in July. He states he is compairing it to those on BaT. Probably where he should list it. Believe he can set a reserve but BaT has to agree that price. At the peak years ago a 77 sold locally at an auction for $100,000. Granted it was very nicely restored with a H55F added. But this years auctions didn't bring anything close to $100k. I do not think the flood of Central and South America 40 series hasn't helped values either. I have a thread trying to sell my early FJ40s and other items. Currently I think the parts are worth a lot more than the whole vehicle. Can't believe what people are paying for parts that held very little value a few years. Cruiser prices are dropping but not parts. Especially rust free parts.
