I am not buying. It may help others if you could mention what model it will fit.

I just see a opening for a sunroof which wasn't offered in the US on a LC until the 80 series which is usually what a part from when no model is given. That is slowing changing with so many 100 & 200 series now.

I'm interested in the lost my top in Canada story as even a 80 series is above my pay grade.

I remember the story on the 76 FJ40. I also know very well about people cutting in and keep things a secret. Told a retired friend of mine about a 45 pickup in a wrecking yard in Eastern AZ. Planned a trip for a couple of weeks later only to have my friend who was retired head over and buy that week. Also know about the straight thru and back trips. The 45 I got from Northern CA was one of them along with a FJ25 in OR and early FJ40 in WA. Being retired was planning a slow trip to get my five speed in WA. Life got in the way and had to have it shipped. Have another pile of parts building in Australia that will require being shipped in a container. Maybe this time will be able to take the back roads and explore a little.

Thanks GB! We're moving what feels like a thousand miles an hour trying to get the house rented, doing some side jobs for pay and finishing up random maintanence on the truck as we find issues!

The truck is a 95/as is the headliner. I will sell it or trash it by next Friday. There is just no room! Considering buying some heavy duty lower links and adjustable uppers, but I may also just replace the bushings. Tough decisions because if I replace everything that needs it I'll spend the entire trip budget! haha! Cheers and updates/videos soon!

Where are you going?

Where are you going?
South, not sure how far. We'll have to see how the money and time goes, but we're looking to spend a year and head for Central Am at least.

I also have 2 tires. Generic mud terrain by General Grabber and a P-rated tire. Was going to use for tire plugging examples, but they need to go. Free, if you want them.

I did a lot more damage then originally thought. @murf and camel back are taking care of me. Case is blown and not ReUsable, rebuild is not an option. Both axle shafts are shot and support for the diff are shot on both sides. So essentially getting a new front end.

On the positive side I got a free upgrade to a premium vehicle for my week without cruiser and the trip to SD this weekend.

Photo is where the damage was done. 75% up on the small rock legde, didn’t even make it to the 2ft ledge at the top of the hill.

You know how photos oftentimes "flatten" hills, minimizing the size and severity of the obstacle itself??? That hill STILL looks steep in that pic - must be a doozey of a climb!

Did you sell the 76 FJ40? Sure your not planning on taking two vehicles.

Honestly didn’t think it was anything till I started going up it. Maybe that was my first mistake. Live and learn.

Tim,

What size are the tires?

I am looking for a 315 for a spare.

Thanks,

Greg

No way. Tonto is safe and sound in a storage unit. I need a giant metal building in the mountains somewhere.

These are a 33x12 or something similar. No that big. Just one I grabbed from a tire store as an example.

I have a 1994 Jayco 1207 popup trailer for SOLD!.

1994 Jayco 1207 trailer.webp

The good:
It has a clean title
New tires and wheel bearings
Heater and three way fridge works, last time I had it out

Price: SOLD to a CSC member, needs to be mechanically inclined

The Bad:
The lift mechanism no longer works. It will need a new cable , at least 2 maybe 4 push springs, and a bracket reattached
Needs a new vent.
Various other small things
