........Of course, I expect I'll be writing to this thread again within the week to say that Murphy has moved in and applied his law(s)!
Well CRAP! I just HAD to get sucked in and make a positive statement about not losing appliances! *&#%$ KitchenAid Dishwasher went out........Easier just to order all the parts it could possibly need. Cheaper than calling a repair "person" to come look at it / fix it

Love the delivery of replacement fridge people f'ing up my door frame. Great now dealing with getting that repaired. View attachment 1137883

We need to start swapping names of these ass clowns and rectifying these wrongs the old fashion way. I would of gone out there and kicked a fender in in their truck. That gets my blood boiling, I hate it when workers have to come into my house.

The house I purchased in 2003 had a full state of the art G.E. electric kitchen from 1955. The house had an American Home Steal warranty for one year. Oven died a few months later and I was looking forward to my new oven. They found the replacement part and they were still working when I sold that house in 2012.

I bought a house in Hot Springs with NO warranty and the 1970's oven died. Spent weeks waiting for a part search on Circuit board. No such board could be found. There might be a reason to keep driving our old land cruisers.

Ok the real reason I got on here today. Looking for a weed eater. Anybody used a shindaiwa? Stihl weedeaters are not getting
good reviews and the warranty is not as good as echo or shindaiwa. Any thoughts?

What is/was the problem with the dishwasher? I've never called an appliance repair guy. Most cases is is not worth it.

Are you reading reviews of the Stihl commercial line or homowner line?

Had an FS55 Handlebar for 15 years and never had a minutes problem. Stihl is the ONLY saw or trimmer I'll buy.

This is not one of many threads he starts which "may" imply explicit ownership utilizing Nazi like controls.

Gas powered tools are the yard appliance of choice for regular men who believe in marriage between a man and woman.

For once Charles is correct. It is a yard appliance. Once again, you jumped the thread gun. Jackass engineer with no roof rack......

So I need a recommendation. I am going to buy a wine fridge, or beverage fridge. Recommendations on brands or places to purchase? I'm not looking for high end as this is going in the guest quarters above the garage.

If you are going to use it for anything other than wine, get a beverage cooler (big $$$ for a quality unit) or a just a small fridge. Many of the wine coolers only go down to 45º or so, and the cheap ones don't last. We have a Vintotemp wine cooler that we built into the cabinets (mostly as a decoration to sell the house, which we found out is cursed and can never be sold) and it died shortly after the warranty ran out. It was a $400 price-level unit. Now it is used for cast iron and carbon steel pan & skillet appliance storage.

Now I keep my beer in my Overland fridge, which is plugged into the wall.
